I think in life, you get back what you put out. Another words, if you’re constantly bitching and moaning, always seeing the worst of everything instead of the best, wearing a whiny frown instead of a smile, you’re most likely going to get back that kind of CRAP. Life just won’t be peachy keen. How could it be?
I’ve fought negativity my entire life. Grew up in a very lop-sided home: More negative than positive. So, this has made me work extra hard to beat off the no-no-nay thinking.
In business, we all have our rough days. Those days that make us want to reach up and pull out every dyed root in our head. It’d probably be easier for some to do that, than work on changing the wicked thoughts and feelings you’re having. I see it everyday in Real Estate and sometimes I say something. Sometimes I just think, “Hey, why not work on that attitude of yours? Don’t you feel blessed about anything? You do? Okay, than think about those things that are blessings in your life.”
We can all find blessings in our life even in the darkest times. I say, Look for them. Carry them around with you. Give thanks for them.
And smile... It really is easier than frowning. Looks so much better, too, and I bet it’ll make you feel better.
