IT’S A GOOD IDEA TO USE LOCAL LAKE ARROWHEAD CONTRACTORS ~ It Can Save You Time, Money and Headaches

Living in the Southern California Mountain Resort of Lake Arrowhead, and having 50% of my clients living off the mountain, I am asked quite often, “Can you recommend the name of a local contractor?”… Either they want a room added on or a remodel or maybe just some deck work. Of course I know many good contractors, but I am more likely to pass along the information below, chalked full of useful help. But before I do that, always remember these tips:

1. Make sure the contractor you may hire is in good standing with the California Contractors  State Licensing Board.
2. You Get What You Pay for; Don’t hire someone just because they are the cheapest. You want several bids.
3. Unlicensed contractors cannot legally perform jobs costing more than $500.00
