LAKE ARROWHEAD BEACH CLUBS

When you live in Lake Arrowhead and own property in “The Woods,” you may want to think about joining one of our beach clubs (for a small yearly membership fee): Burnt Mill Beach Club and Tavern Bay Beach Club. These clubs, plus Marina Peninsula Park, Grass Valley Lake & the lake, are owned and operated by ARROWHEAD LAKE ASSOCIATION (ALA).

Burnt Mill Beach Club:  Here you’ll find a sandy beach, a roped off swim area, swing set & play equipment for the kiddies (well, the whole family). Lots of picnic tables, shade trees & restrooms nearby.  Burnt Mill Beach Club is located on the south side of the lake and is not quite as windy as the north side.                 MAP & DIRECTIONS

Tavern Bay Beach Club: Located on the north side of the lake, next to UCLA Conference Center, is my favorite of the two beach clubs.  Picnic tables, grassy area and a sandy beach with a huge roped-off swim area. Kids love the swing set & slide plus other play equipment!! Some shade, though not as much as the south side. Loads of parking.  MAP & DIRECTIONS

 …and then there is also the  LAKE ARROWHEAD YACHT CLUB which started back in 1932 and is still going strong. Located on the south side of the lake, next to The Village. See MAP & LOCATION

Lake Arrowhead LAKE FRONT Homes For SALE

First of all, Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and you must own property within certain boundaries to have access to the lake: boating, swimming, fishing…  Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) is here to protect, operate, and improve Lake Arrowhead properties and to provide those folks who own properties within “lake rights” with safe recreational facilities. 

Arrowhead Architectural Committee (AWAC) dates back to the 1920′s, helps enforce certain covenants and restrictions (like chopping or trimming of trees) within “The Woods” and on properties with lake rights and within “The Woods.”

Many lake fronts homes are in gated areas like Hamiltair, Point Hamiltair, Shelter Cove, North Shore & Village Cove (this is one of the newest gated lake front areas).
